Course Aim
NYP Diploma in Chemical & Pharmaceutical Technology provides:- a strong foundation in chemical and pharmaceutical technology with emphasis in areas such as petroleum refining, chemical plant operations and pharmaceutical technology to support manufacturing plants of major chemical and pharmaceutical companies.

- 3 academic years on a full-time basis
Course Structure
FIRST YEAR - The FundamentalsThe first year of the course provides broad-based modules to impart fundamental knowledge in science and mathematics, communication, IT skills and chemical engineering principles.
SECOND YEAR - The Applications
The second year covers chemical engineering applications, applied sciences and process instrumentation and control.
THIRD YEAR - Realizing Your Aspirations
In the third year, students will study subjects on industrial safety and environmental technology, process operations and optimization and advanced instrumentation and control. In addition, students may elect to undertake a pharmaceutical specialisation or petrochemical specialisation. This will further equip and enhance specific skills which are relevant and needed to enter the pharmaceutical and petrochemical industries.
